DEPRESSION
If depression were a person,
They would not say hello,
They'd beat you to a pulp,
Just to greet you with more foes.

If depression were a person,
They would murder every day,
Slink into the shadows,
They'd torment their prey.

If depression were a person,
They'd be silent like the night,
They'd make you lie awake,
To hold your hand very tight.

If depression were a person,
Then maybe you would see,
There is something that hates me,
It does not want to see me breathe.
